In the case where your visit is financially supported by a relative or friend outside Australia
If your visit is sponsored by a relative or friend outside Australia, the required documentation includes:
- A letter from your friend or relative expressing their intention to financially support your visit to Australia. The letter should encompass their full name, date of birth, their relationship to you, and the specific period they plan to assist you during your stay.
- Proof of your friend or relative's financial capability to support you in Australia, which should comprise:a. Bank statements covering the last three months.b. Salary slips or pay slips for the preceding three months.c. If employed, a copy of their contract or a letter from their employer detailing their position, income, and the duration of their contract or employment.d. If self-employed, documentation about their business, including the name and address of the business, information about its nature, business registration license, and relevant bank statements related to the business.
If you are currently employed
For employed individuals, the required documentation includes:
- Salary slips or pay slips for the past three months.
- A copy of your employment contract or a letter from your employer. This document should specify your position, details of your income, and the length of your contract or employment.
- A letter from your employer confirming that your leave (with a specified period) has been approved and providing assurance that you will resume your employment following your leave or business visit.
If you are engaged in self-employment
The required documentation includes:
- Evidence detailing company/business particulars, which should include:
- Name and address of the business.
- Information regarding the nature of the business.
- Business registration license.
- Bank statements related to the business.
- A certified copy of your National Tax Number (NTN) Registration Certificate issued by the Federal Board of Revenue.
